Production Chemist

Minimum Requirements:

• A graduate of Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
• At least 6 months working experience with the same capacity. Fresh graduate are very open to apply.
• Prior experience in research or laboratory work is an advantage but not mandatory, making this role suitable for individuals eager to learn on the job.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required for data entry, reporting, and documentation.
• Strong abilities in critical thinking and problem-solving are essential for troubleshooting issues, analyzing processes, and making informed decisions.
• Willing to work at Maybunga, Pasig City.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Daily Equipment Calibration - Perform daily calibration of weighing balances and other production-related equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with production standards.
• Weighing of Colorants - Precisely measure and prepare colorants required for the manufacturing process, ensuring adherence to formulations.
• Adhesives and Retouch Preparation - Mix and prepare adhesives and retouch materials used in fabrication, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Quality Control of Raw Materials - Conduct quality checks and monitor parameters of raw material batches before production use to maintain product standards.
• Production Process Monitoring - Closely supervise the production process to ensure all manufacturing procedures are followed as per established protocols.
• Sampling and Parameter Monitoring - Perform regular production sampling and monitor standard parameters during the manufacturing process to identify and correct variances promptly.
• Finished Product Quality Checks - Conduct thorough quality inspections of finished products to ensure they meet customer specifications and company standards.
• Final Product Assurance - Verify that the final products align with customer requirements and resolve any discrepancies.
• Coordination with Production Head - Report daily schedules, production outputs, and other manufacturing activities directly to the production head.
• Inventory Monitoring - Monitor raw materials inventory daily to ensure sufficient stock is available for production needs, avoiding delays or shortages.
