Key Responsibilities

1. Warehouse Operations Management

  • Supervise day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, picking, packing, and dispatch.
  • Ensure proper storage, organization, and labeling of products to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Oversee the use of warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) in a safe and efficient manner.

2. Logistics & Distribution

  • Plan and coordinate delivery schedules to retail outlets and customers.
  • Monitor shipment tracking and resolve delays or discrepancies.
  • Liaise with transport providers to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.

3. Inventory Control

  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Implement processes to reduce shrinkage, damages, and stock-outs.

4. Team Leadership

  • Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse and logistics staff.
  • Allocate daily tasks and monitor performance to meet KPIs.
  • Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards.

5. Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations in warehouse operations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization to support a safe working environment.
  • Oversee compliance with legal, environmental, and company requirements.

Skills & Qualifications

Essential:

  • Proven experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain supervision (retail sector preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management and distribution processes.
  • Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and MS Office.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred:

  • Certification in logistics, supply chain management, or related field.
  • Forklift license or equipment operation knowledge.
