About the Role

Are you the go-to person when it comes to HVAC parts, tools, and technical know-how? As our HVAC Parts & Materials Technical Specialist, you'll be the trusted expert who helps customers and colleagues find the right solutions — from the smallest AC component to complete service kits. You'll combine your technical expertise with customer-facing skills to guide product selection, solve complex inquiries, and ensure our nationwide network has the confidence and knowledge to sell, service, and support aftermarket products.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead and primary point of contact for all inquiries related to AC parts, components, tools, chemicals, and materials distributed by Concepion-Carrier / Totaline nationwide.
• Provide expert technical guidance to customers and internal teams, ensuring correct product application for service, repair, and installation.
• Collaborate with Sales and Procurement teams by sharing market insights, technical knowledge, and product recommendations to support business development and product portfolio expansion.
• Partner with the Marketing Team to provide accurate technical details for documentation, certifications, promotional materials, and advertising, ensuring compliance with HVAC standards.
• Conduct technical training sessions (product knowledge, troubleshooting, application) for internal teams and business partners to build technical confidence in selling and supporting aftermarket products.
• Address and resolve technical and product-related inquiries, including stock availability, SKU applications, obsolete or phased-out items, compatible replacements, pricing, discounting, replenishment schedules, and incoming stock information.
• Support the enhancement of digital tools (e.g., Parts Portal) by validating product data, compatibility filters, and self-service technical guides.
• Assist the Business Development Team with Bill of Materials preparation, material specifications, supplier certifications, and product requirement validation for projects.

What We're Looking For

• Technical background in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field (degree or equivalent work experience).
• Strong knowledge of air conditioning systems, parts, tools, chemicals, and materials.
• Experience in a customer-facing technical role such as technical sales, product support, or field service.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for different audiences.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with digital tools and systems for product data, inventory, or technical documentation.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for training, customer visits, or site support.
