JOB OBJECTIVE
• To promote and sell technologically advanced products or services by combining deep product knowledge with persuasive sales techniques.
• To identify customer needs, delivering tailored solutions, and maintaining strong client relationships to drive revenue and market share. 4. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
• Sales Revenue Total revenue generated from technical product/service sales
• Quota Achievement Rate Percentage of sales targets met or exceeded
• Lead Conversion Rate Ratio of qualified leads converted into paying customers
• Sales Cycle Length Average time taken to close a deal
• Pipeline Growth Increase in qualified opportunities over time
• Technical Demo Success Rate Percentage of demos that lead to follow-up or closed deals
• Client Retention Rate Percentage of clients retained over a defined period
• Forecast Accuracy Alignment between projected and actual sales outcomes 5. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify potential clients through research, networking, and outreach.
• Product Expertise: Understand and explain the technical features, benefits, and applications of products to customers.
• Sales Presentations & Demos: Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to showcase value.
• Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Proposal Development: Prepare customized proposals, quotations, and tender documents.
• Negotiation & Closing: Lead contract negotiations and close deals that meet both client and company objectives.
• Feedback Loop: Relay customer feedback to product and engineering teams for continuous improvement.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline status.
• Adherance to plan activities as well as government and other regulatory requirements
• To perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned to support the organization's Mission, Vision, Objectives, Strategies and Core Values 6. QUALIFICATIONS 6.1 Education Graduate of Engineering, Computer Science or related field. 6.2 Work Experience 1-2 years of experience in technical sales or sales engineering 6.3 Certification/License Product-selling technologies (advantage but required) 6.4 Skills Strong Communications & Negotiation Skills Interpersonal Skills Presentation Skills Strategic Thinking Sales Analytics skills 7.
