Job Description

  • Supervises, monitors, and evaluates the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department to ensure accurate, efficient, and prompt submission of accounting-related reports and compliance to regulatory bodies.

  • Prepares reports required by government agencies and the Management

  • Implements and monitors sound internal controls based on the Department's Operations Manual, company policies, and statutory regulations.

  • Drive improvements and efficiencies within the team and any impacts across other teams of the organization.

  • Documents processes or updates operations manual to keep abreast of the business or government requirements.

  • Performs all other relevant functions that may be assigned from time to time.

  • Evaluates and monitors the job performance of staff and subordinates

Qualification

  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant

  • At least 2 years related experience

  • Sound knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations

  • Experience in SAP accounting software

  • Good leadership skills

  • Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey financial information to stakeholders
