About the Role

The GTM Strategy Lead plays a pivotal role in shaping Quipper Philippines' growth strategy by identifying, developing, and managing partnerships that unlock new revenue streams, channels, and product opportunities.

This role leads the end-to-end lifecycle of strategic partnerships — from market scanning and opportunity evaluation to partner negotiations, pilot implementation, and performance tracking. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a relationship builder, capable of navigating complex ecosystems including associations, telcos, content providers, fintechs, and education networks.

By forging strong alliances, this role will help Quipper expand distribution, co-create new offerings, and explore innovative business models that accelerate our GTM strategy.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Partnership Identification & Evaluation

  • Scan the education and technology ecosystem to identify potential partners across key categories:

  • Education networks and associations

  • Telcos, tech platforms, and device manufacturers
  • Content and assessment providers
  • EdFinTech and payment platforms
  • Evaluate opportunities through market sizing, strategic fit analysis, and basic financial modeling.
  • Prioritize partnerships based on revenue potential, strategic impact, and execution feasibility.
  • Develop business cases and proposals for internal alignment and leadership approval.

2. Partnership Development & Negotiation

  • Lead outreach and engagement with target partners, representing Quipper professionally in strategic discussions.
  • Develop and deliver compelling partnership pitches, co-marketing proposals, and solution narratives.
  • Negotiate partnership terms, agreements, and implementation plans in collaboration with Legal, Finance, and Product teams.
  • Build long-term, trust-based relationships that drive mutual value and measurable business outcomes.

3. Pilot Implementation & Performance Tracking

  • Coordinate pilot programs with internal teams (Product, Marketing, Sales) and external partners to ensure smooth rollout.
  • Define clear success metrics and implementation timelines for each partnership.
  • Track performance of partnerships, including revenue contribution, adoption, and strategic outcomes.
  • Identify challenges and propose course corrections to ensure partnerships deliver on objectives.

4. Market Engagement & Ecosystem Intelligence

  • Stay updated on trends in EdTech, telecommunications, content publishing, and education financing.
  • Monitor competitor partnership activities and emerging ecosystem plays.
  • Represent Quipper at events, forums, and association meetings to build visibility and networks.
  • Share ecosystem insights and recommendations with GTM Strategy leadership to inform planning cycles.

5. Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to integrate partnerships into GTM plans and campaigns.
  • Coordinate with Business Intelligence to assess partnership profitability and impact.
  • Facilitate structured feedback loops between partners and internal teams for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure partnership activities are aligned with overall company objectives, segment strategies, and revenue goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (MBA is a plus).
  • 4–6 years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, alliances, or GTM strategy, ideally in EdTech, SaaS, telecom, or education sectors.
  • Proven track record of developing and managing strategic partnerships end-to-end.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, including experience dealing with senior external partners.
  • Strategic mindset with strong analytical and business case development capabilities.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, multi-stakeholder environments, and complex negotiations.
  • Highly collaborative and self-driven, with strong project management skills.

Job Type: Full-time, Regular

Work location: Field-based

Work schedules: Mondays to Fridays, with work during weekends or Philippine holidays, if needed.
