The Compliance Officer will be responsible for implementing, and overseeing the compliance programs for our Home Health Care Company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular audits of patient records, staff records, authorizations and billing practices to ensure compliance with Medicare/Medicaid, state, and accreditation standards.
  • Monitor staff credentials, training completion, and licensure renewals.
  • Participate in mock surveys to ensure ongoing readiness for inspections and audits.
  • Respond promptly to Critical Incidents in accordance with regulations and agency policy, ensuring proper documentation, reporting, and resolution.
  • Review, investigate, and resolve complaints or safety concerns involving clients or caregivers.

  • Document and track occurrences, complaints, and incidents for trend analysis and reporting.

  • Compile, trend, and report quality data to measure client care outcomes, patient satisfaction, and risk management indicators.

  • Participate in Quality Committee meetings and provide data-driven insights for decision-making.

  • Stay current on regulatory and industry changes and communicate updates to leadership and staff.

  • Assist in developing and conducting compliance-related staff training sessions (e.g., HIPAA, infection control, incident reporting).
