Job Title
: Analyst, SOX Compliance (Business Controls)

Job Summary
: We're looking for a team player, a go-getter with ambition, focus, and a strong understanding of business processes and controls. The Analyst, SOX Compliance, based in Manila, will work to promote Genesys' Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance efforts. This is an individual contributor role.

Responsibilities:

• Assist and support the organization with initial compliance with and ongoing preparation, testing, and monitoring of conformance to the requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley legislation.
• Assist in SOX planning, scoping, and risk assessment with close collaboration with business process owners and external auditors
• Conduct business process walkthroughs and controls testing according to established audit standards
• Evaluate audit findings and coordinate remediation activities
• Enhance relationships and networks with senior internal/external partners who are not familiar with their business area's subject matter, often requiring persuasion or a clear explanation of data and concepts. Adapts style to differing audiences and often advises others on difficult matters.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CA, CIA, CPA (preferred)
• 2+ years of Internal Audit or SOX experience in business processes
• Experience in testing Business Process controls and IT Managed Application Controls (ITAC)
• Experience in functional testing and Control Gap analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines, with high standards for quality, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as a member of the team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
