About the role

As the Sr. SEO Specialist at you will play a crucial role in driving the company's online visibility and organic growth. This is a fully remote, permanent position with a comprehensive health insurance plan from day one. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic SEO initiatives to optimize the company's digital presence and attract high-quality leads.

What you'll be doing

  • Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high-value opportunities and optimise content and site architecture
  • Implement technical SEO best practices to improve website crawlability, indexability, and overall performance
  • Analyse website analytics and search engine data to track the success of SEO efforts and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with the content team to create optimised, engaging content that aligns with target audience interests and search intent
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to stay ahead of the curve and implement innovative SEO strategies
  • Provide regular reporting and recommendations to key stakeholders on SEO performance and future initiatives

  • Traffic Growth: Achieve and sustain a +100,000 monthly organic click increase within 12 months, measured in Google Search Console.
  • Revenue Impact: Grow SEO-attributed revenue to meet or exceed aggressive quarterly targets aligned with our >$5M annual ecommerce revenue.
  • Technical Excellence: Audit, prioritize, and implement site-wide technical SEO improvements (crawl efficiency, Core Web Vitals, structured data) within the first 90 days.
  • Content Leadership: Build and manage a high-performing content program that consistently ranks for high-value commercial kitchen equipment keywords.
  • Team & Process Development: Establish repeatable SEO processes and mentor internal team members or contractors to scale execution.

What we're looking for

  • 8+ years of proven experience in SEO, with a track record of driving significant organic growth for e-commerce or B2B businesses
  • Proven Scale: Direct responsibility for SEO on an ecommerce property with $5M+ annual revenue or 2M+ annual visits.
  • Expert SEO Knowledge: Mastery of Google Search Console, Google Analytics/GA4, and advanced on-page, off-page, and technical SEO practices.
  • Content Strategy: Deep experience with keyword research, content planning, and overseeing large-scale blog/content production (HTML & CSS familiarity required).
  • Analytical & Data-Driven: Ability to translate data into actionable insights and communicate results to stakeholders.
  • Growth Mindset: Track record of solving complex problems and leveraging technology for operational efficiency.
  • Leadership & Communication: Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills and a bias for action.
