Production Associate Engineer (Medical Factory)

Job Summary

The Production Associate Engineer is responsible for supporting continuous improvement initiatives, production monitoring, quality control, machine and equipment reliability, environmental management, production efficiency, and productivity tracking. The role ensures that company operations meet quality, cost, delivery, and safety targets while driving improvements through systematic monitoring, problem-solving, and implementation of corrective actions.

Job Description

  • Lead Kaizen and improvement activities, report progress, and apply employee input.
  • Monitor input/output, WIP, capacity, and storage to meet production targets.
  • Manage NCRs, limit samples, and corrective actions to reduce defects and repairs.
  • Monitor breakdowns, manage spare parts, and ensure proper machine use.
  • Improve layouts, enforce 5S, and promote safe, ergonomic work conditions.
  • Conduct time studies, standardize processes, and resolve efficiency issues.
  • Prepare reports, monitor performance, and implement actions to achieve targets.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or any related course.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in production, process improvement, or quality control in a manufacturing environment.
  • Fresh graduates with strong academic background and internship experience may also be considered.
  • Knowledge of Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement tools.
  • Basic knowledge of quality management systems (ISO standards is an advantage).
  • Familiar with time study, production planning, and efficiency monitoring.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Flexible, proactive, and results-oriented.
  • Willing to work in a manufacturing environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
