We are hiring for:

SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Brief Description and Purpose of the Position

The Senior Software Engineer will lead in designing, coding, testing, debugging, and enhancing applications and systems. The position's responsibilities include supervising the team in applying programming standards, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with the development team to deliver efficient and effective code solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • People and Performance Supervision

  • Conduct performance reviews and appraisals for direct reports.

  • Prepare developmental plans for team members as needed.
  • Coach and guide direct reports to ensure high-impact performance and delivery results
  • Conduct disciplinary action for erring employees

  • Budget Supervision

  • Allocate budgetary resources based on priority areas, such as training, software licenses, and hardware upgrades.

  • Monitor and adjust allocations as needed throughout the year.

  • IT Operation Supervision

  • Supervise the design, coding, testing, debugging, configuration, and documentation of applications and systems.

  • Lead the application of programming standards and techniques to ensure efficient program logic and data manipulation.
  • Lead the troubleshooting of technical issues throughout the product life cycle, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
  • Supervise system and application development, maintenance, and production support enhancements.

  • Process Improvement

  • Study and analyze the processes and functions of existing products for continuous improvement

  • Lead enhancements for system and application development, maintenance, and production support

  • User's Training and Support Supervision

  • Oversee training sessions for end-users on hardware, software, and network usage.

  • Ensure that there is ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to ensure effective use of IT systems

  • Project Management

  • Support the development of detailed project plans with clear milestones, timelines, and resource requirements.

  • Contribute to defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables to guide the development team.

Qualification Standards

  • Education:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, BSIT or any other computer-related course
  • Experience:With at least 3 years of relevant experience in Software Engineering and 1 year of leadership experience

  • Others:

  • Knowledge in Programming languages associated with Microsoft: C#, Java, Dart

  • Knowledge Query database server: MS SQ
  • Web development: ASP.NET CORE, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • UX, UI application tools: Figma, AdobeXD
  • Basic Skills in Multimedia design
