About the Role:

As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring patients receive timely care by managing prior authorization requests and coordinating with healthcare providers and insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and track prior authorization requests for procedures and treatments.
  • Verify patient insurance coverage, eligibility, and benefits.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and insurance providers to obtain necessary approvals.
  • Document and update all authorizations and communications in EPIC EMR.
  • Identify and resolve prior authorization delays or denials promptly.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in prior authorization or medical billing/insurance verification.
  • Strong knowledge in Radiology, Inpatient, Surgical, and Medical procedure workflows.
  • Proficiency in EPIC software preferred.
  • Familiarity with payer requirements and medical terminology.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Amenable to work during U.S. business hours.
  • Willing to work onsite in Alabang
