The Public Relations Officer is responsible for building and maintaining a positive public image for the company. This role involves developing communication strategies, managing media relations, coordinating events, and creating content that promotes the company's brand, values, and initiatives to the public.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement PR strategies to enhance the company's image and reputation.
  • Prepare and distribute press releases, media kits, and other public statements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media partners, influencers, and key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and support marketing and promotional events, including product launches and press conferences.
  • Monitor media coverage and manage public feedback to ensure positive brand representation.
  • Assist in managing the company's online presence, including social media and website content.
  • Draft internal communications and announcements as needed.
  • Handle PR crises promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and branding teams to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.
  • Track PR campaign performance and provide regular reports to management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or media.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong media network and knowledge of current PR trends.
  • Creative, proactive, and detail-oriented.
  • Able to work under pressure and handle multiple projects.
  • Proficient in social media management and basic graphic or content creation is a plus.
