Job Description

As a Marketing Data Science Manager, you'll design, develop, and deploy marketing analytics models that optimize campaign performance, customer segmentation, and business impact. You'll lead initiatives that harness AI, data visualization, and predictive analytics to shape smarter decisions across global marketing operations.

The Qualifications We Seek

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in marketing analytics or data science, ideally in telco, B2C, or subscription-based businesses.
  • Strong command of SQL, Python or R, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Adobe Journey Optimiser / Target / CDP, or similar marketing platforms.
  • Experience with predictive modeling, clustering, attribution models, and funnel analysis.
  • Comfortable working in cross-border teams with clear communication and project ownership.
  • Exposure to AI/ML, marketing automation, or personalization technologies is a plus.

Your Daily Tasks

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage customer segmentation models to support targeted marketing and product strategies.
  • Develop predictive models to forecast customer churn, conversion, and lifetime value.
  • Conduct attribution modeling to measure marketing channel effectiveness.
  • Design dashboards and data visualizations for marketing KPIs and ROI reporting.
  • Support A/B testing, uplift modeling, and campaign measurement frameworks.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Marketing, Product, and Data teams in Australia.
  • Contribute to the development of AI-driven personalization and lead scoring models.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize media budget allocation using data-driven insights.

Key Deliverables

  • Build and maintain robust segmentation models (demographic, behavioral, and predictive) for targeting residential and business customers.
  • Deliver audience definitions and targeting segments to campaign and product teams on a monthly basis.
  • Establish a high-performance lead generation ecosystem (e.g., scoring, routing, nurturing) integrated with Sales and Product teams.
  • Develop machine learning models for churn prediction, upselling opportunities, and lead scoring.
  • Deploy and monitor models in collaboration with MarTech and automation teams.
  • Own the attribution modeling framework to evaluate media and channel ROI (e.g., first-click, last-click, data-driven).
  • Analyze and report on funnel performance (from impressions to conversions) across digital and offline channels.
  • Design and deliver dashboards and reports to track campaign effectiveness, CAC, CLV, and marketing ROI.
  • Provide actionable insights to improve conversion rates and campaign targeting.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Performance Marketing teams to optimize lead scoring, quality tracking, and conversion analysis.
