JOB PURPOSE

Manages day-to-day product development activities including sample management, fit evaluation, construction review and assessment

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct day-to-day product development activities particularly fit evaluation and construction
  • Review of all samples.
  • Document/log all comments and instructions with regards to fit, execution and construction on the Sample Evaluation Form (SEF).
  • Assist in all vendor meetings.
  • Review and validate work sheets/ specs sheets prior to fan out.
  • Manage and maintain the sample tracking sheet as well as all departmental files and
  • samples.
  • Has basic technical understanding of the assigned product category.
  • Discuss all adjustments with the assigned vendor together with representatives from merchandising and design.
