About the role

This is a full-time role based in Calamba City, Laguna. As an Accounting Associate - Fixed Asset at Acbel PolyTech (Phils.), Inc.', you will play a key role in the company's accounting and finance operations, with a focus on managing the company's fixed assets.

What you'll be doing

  1. Maintain detailed records of the company's fixed assets, including purchases, depreciation, and disposals
  2. Reconcile fixed asset accounts and prepare periodic reports on the company's fixed asset portfolio
  3. Assist in the preparation of the company's financial statements and ensure accurate reporting of fixed asset information
  4. Coordinate with various departments to ensure proper accounting for fixed asset transactions
  5. Support the preparation of fixed asset-related budgets and forecasts
  6. Perform physical counts and verifications of fixed assets to ensure accuracy of records
  7. Provide support and guidance to other accounting team members on fixed asset management

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  2. 1-3 years of experience in fixed asset accounting or a similar role
  3. Strong understanding of accounting principles and fixed asset management
  4. Proficient in the use of accounting software and spreadsheet applications
  5. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  7. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
