Group Manager oversees multiple units, directing daily operations, staff, and finances for optimal performance and profit. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing strategies, managing budgets and inventory, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and leading teams through hiring, training, and performance management to achieve high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Oversight:

  • Direct and manage daily operations across multiple food establishments or departments.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food handling standards

  • Monitor and maintain equipment, facilities, and inventory to ensure peak performance and safety.

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage budgets, monitor food and labor costs, and track sales to ensure profitability.

  • Analyze production metrics and financial reports to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Staff Leadership:

  • Hire, train, and mentor staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

  • Develop work schedules, conduct performance evaluations, and resolve employee issues.

Quality & Service Standards:

  • Ensure exceptional quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction in all aspects of service.

  • Implement and oversee menu development and food preparation processes.

  • Handle customer complaints, resolving issues diplomatically.

Strategic Initiatives:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and resolve issues.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and new technologies to drive innovation and business growth.
