A Glimpse into Your New Role

We are currently seeking a Debt Recovery Legal Clerk for our Debt Recovery practice. This is an entry-level position based in our Sydney City office, with core working hours from 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. The role involves supporting the legal team with debt recovery processes, document preparation, and general administrative tasks. The successful candidate will be trained in the role, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in starting a career in the legal field.

What You'll Bring

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • The ability to work well within a team and autonomously
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to work full-time onsite at our Sydney City office, Monday to Friday
  • A commitment to long-term employment with the firm (ideal for individuals looking to build a career as a paralegal)

Additional Requirements:

  • No prior legal experience necessary; training will be provided
  • Law students are welcome to apply, but must have a minimum of 2-3 years left in their studies and be able to work full-time without their studies affecting their performance or attendance at work
  • Legal debt recovery or strata industry experience is advantageous but not required
