The Sr. Business Analyst will be the vital link in preparing and maintaining a healthy backlog of well-documented and accurate user stories. The BA will work with the team to stay on time and ensure that development work is built to specification. This person will identify, analyze and specify business requirements and translate them into to-the-point user stories or functional specifications and designs.

  • Gather and analyze requirements from Product Leaders, Technology Teams, and customer feedback
  • Participate in design sessions to plan and refine user stories
  • Align customer needs with corporate strategy and technical capabilities
  • Write detailed user stories for specific personas, including business rules, validation messages, and acceptance criteria
  • Design, document, and maintain system processes and workflows
  • Conduct quality assurance to ensure deliverables meet specifications
  • Define reporting and alerting requirements to support business operations
  • Manage sprint timelines and ensure deadlines are consistently met
  • Identify recurring technical issues and provide actionable recommendations to the product team
  • Communicate key insights and findings regularly with cross-functional teams
  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance customer and business value
  • Present updates and findings during business refinement and retrospective meetings
  • Upload and manage content within back-office systems
  • Track progress and maintain accuracy using spreadsheets and internal tools
  • Determine appropriate business logic for user stories with minimal supervision

Qualifications:

  • Native or fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration abilities
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving mindset
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
  • Proven expertise in requirement elicitation, documentation, and testing
  • Solid background in Development, Business/Systems Analysis, or Quality Assurance
  • Skilled in analyzing data to derive business insights and using data visualization tools
  • Proficient in creating process documentation and technical writing
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, Economics, English, or related fields
  • Familiarity with DevOps and cloud technologies, with exposure to diverse platforms and environments
  • Experience with OutSystems and/or completion of the Analyst Path is a strong advantage
  • Proven experience in writing test cases and managing test case repositories
  • Strong affinity for technology with working knowledge of the software delivery lifecycle
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Agile methodologies
