Purpose of the role

The Technical Sales Manager (Specification) plays a key role in driving sales and product specification efforts by providing customers with expert technical guidance on Leviat products and identifying market opportunities to enhance brand awareness. They develop safe, practical, and cost-effective solutions to address the challenges faced by specifiers and end users, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term brand loyalty. Key Tasks & ResponsibilitiesExpand sales engineering efforts into new application areas such as tunnelling, industrial flooring, elevator systems, and steel structures.

Collaborate with the Technical Department to prepare presentations that communicate solutions and value to clients.Recommend materials to customers, explaining how these can reduce costs or improve construction productivity, and assist in designing custom products to meet specific requirements. Manage assigned geographic territories, including existing and new areas. Provide proactive technical support to customers and internal teams like sales and production.

Develop technical solutions, including calculations and project support, to meet client needs. Research local and country-specific construction methods to inform project approaches. Coordinate with material testing laboratories, oversee testing, and liaise with authorities to ensure compliance.

Design and size specialized construction solutions tailored to project needs. Prepare and review proposals and quotations for project bids. Create and deliver comprehensive technical solutions for building projects.

Organize seminars and training sessions for customers, design institutes, and external stakeholders. Represent the company at industry events to build brand presence and networking.Update marketing materials, including brochures and website content. Maintain organized technical documentation for easy access.
