Senior Facilities Manager

Pasay, National Capital Region, Philippines CBRE Full time ₱80,000 - ₱85,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and guide staff, including overseeing their training, development, and performance evaluations. Manage recruitment and staffing processes.
  • Organize and manage daily team activities, including task assignments, scheduling, and deadline management. Provide coaching and support as needed.
  • Oversee implementation of 52 – week maintenance of equipment such as substations, generators, transformers, Wastewater treatment plant, water treatment plant, pumps and motors and repair tasks by coordinating with technicians, vendors, and contractors for maintenance works.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing and resolving facility issues during meetings.
  • Manage and oversee CAPEX projects, OPEX, and variance reporting to client.
  • Conduct inspections of the facility to ensure compliance with regulations at local, state, and federal levels. Suggest improvements and identify opportunities for operational efficiency.
  • Manage vendor relationships, oversee procurement, and ensure proper invoicing.
  • Provide training on maintenance procedures, safety protocols, and best practices.
  • Collaborate effectively across teams to achieve departmental objectives using your expertise in facilities management.
  • Address and resolve both routine and complex operational challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering is preferred, with at least 15 years of relevant experience. A valid driver's license is required. Facility Management certification is a plus.
  • Extensive experience in facilities operations and maintenance including shipyard experience and other similar industrial/ manufacturing set up.
  • Experience in staffing, performance management, coaching, and employee retention is desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex or sensitive information and manage conflicts effectively.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities to enhance team performance, quality, and efficiency.
  • Excellent organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Proficient in mathematical calculations related to financial planning.
