Job Overview

GoPeople is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative (Logistics) to provide support in managing inbound delivery operations. The role involves handling real-time communication with clients and drivers, resolving delivery issues, and ensuring timely updates and coordination across the logistics process. You will serve as the front line of support to maintain customer satisfaction and operational flow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inquiries, updates, and concerns related to incoming deliveries from both clients and drivers

  • Monitor and confirm booking details, delivery instructions, and pickup schedules

  • Communicate professionally via phone, email, or chat to resolve delivery-related issues in real-time

  • Coordinate with warehouse teams, drivers, and internal departments to ensure smooth inbound operations

  • Log, track, and report delivery status, delays, and incidents using internal systems

  • Ensure all documentation and system records are accurate and updated

  • Provide excellent customer service by ensuring quick resolution of concerns and clear communication

  • Collaborate with other operations staff to ensure seamless logistics coordination

  • Prepare and send reports or updates to clients and team leaders as needed

Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills

  • Experience in logistics, customer service, or delivery coordination preferred

  • Background in transportation, warehousing, or supply chain operations is an advantage

  • Comfortable handling multiple tasks and working under pressure in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficient in tools such as Google Sheets, Excel, and messaging platforms (e.g., Slack, Zoom, email)

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused attitude

  • Must be reliable, responsive, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required if with relevant work experience
