QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of Engineering or any related field
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Safety Auditor in the construction industry
  • OSH practitioner
  • Has OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001 background
  • Internal Auditor's course in OHSAS 18001 is an advantage

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant COSH legislation and best practices and provide updates on a monthly basis on all new or amended COSH legislation
  • Monitor the compliance of all work practices and procedures done at the project site to the COSH standards
  • Ensure the company's compliance with all the safety, health, and environmental regulatory bodies and standards
  • Examine the compliance of the subcontractors with the COSH standards, the company's safety plans, and legal guidelines
  • Lead investigations of all accidents and near-miss incidents and prepare a report
  • Analyze injury case studies and other safety statistics
  • Monitor compliance with COSH policies and laws by performing audit inspections
  • Prepare written reports of findings and recommendations for corrective or preventive measures and ensure measures will be implemented
  • Conduct visits to job sites to evaluate facilities, working conditions, and other health, safety, and environmental items
  • Maintain all COSH-related documents of the entire project
