Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or related field.
  • At least 2–4 years of relevant experience in general accounting; supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Philippine tax regulations and basic financial reporting.
  • Skilled in accounting systems, with a strong advantage in using Netsuite, and experienced in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Operations:

  2. Manage daily accounting activities for One Gasport Property Managers OPC, including disbursements, collections, billing, and bank reconciliation.

  3. Ensure timely entry of transactions and oversee cash flow management.

  4. Prepare and record journal entries, maintain general ledger, and manage month-end/year-end closing.

  5. Financial Reporting:

  6. Prepare financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement) per accounting standards.

  7. Provide financial insights and generate internal/external reports.

  8. Regulatory Compliance:

  9. Prepare and submit tax filings (e.g., VAT, income tax) and compliance reports.

  10. Monitor changes in tax regulations and accounting standards.

  11. Account Reconciliation and Analysis:

  12. Perform bank, tax, and intercompany reconciliations.

  13. Analyze financial data for process and performance improvements.

  14. Audit Support:

  15. Facilitate audits by preparing documentation and addressing queries.

  16. Implement recommendations to enhance financial controls.

  17. System Use and Coordination:

  18. Be the main NetSuite user, ensuring accurate data entry and system workflow adherence.

  19. Collaborate with Group Accounting and IT support for system updates and process improvements.

  20. Staff Supervision and Coordination:

  21. Supervise accounting staff, ensuring accurate and timely work.

  22. Provide coaching and coordinate with Mall Manager and operations teams on financial matters.
