Job Description
  • Participate in backlog refinement and contribute actionable technical insights to shape upcoming features
  • Join structured sprint planning to balance workload, improve predictability, and sharpen task estimation skills
  • Build and refine business logic to deliver smooth, intuitive experiences for end users
  • Engage in periodic R&D and innovation sprints to explore new technologies and elevate engineering capabilities
  • Collaborate with project and program managers by providing realistic technical timelines and progress updates
  • Keep the Payment Services ecosystem healthy by proactively identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving bugs
  • Contribute to the continuous evolution of the platform's performance, scalability, and quality standards
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 2–3 years' proven full-stack development experience (non-negotiable)
  • Back-end: Skilled in Java and Spring Boot for API and service development (non-negotiable)
  • Front-end: 2–3 years of hands-on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript experience (non-negotiable)
  • Strong experience with and for modern application development (non-negotiable)
  • Must be fully capable of completing a coding exam — strong practical coding skills required
  • Experience deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes
  • Good grasp of pub/sub systems, queues, API patterns, and database integrations
  • Experience in API design and contributing to UI/UX improvements
  • Able to explain technical decisions clearly, including tradeoffs and alternatives
  • Strong commitment to clean code, testing, and maintainable software

  • Nice to Have:

  • AWS or GCP experience

  • Background in microservices or distributed systems
  • Experience with Kubernetes/RHOCP clusters
  • Knowledge of serverless designs
  • Familiarity with Terraform/Ansible
  • Exposure to monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana)
