Job Summary :The R&D Specialist will be responsible for conducting research, developing new products, improving existing products, and supporting innovation initiatives. This role requires strong analytical skills, creativity, and collaboration with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, and production.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

Education : Graduate of BS Food Technology, BS Chemical Engineering, BS Chemistry or any related course

Experience : Proven experience in a research or product development role (typically 2–5 years).

Special Skills :

  • Experience in project management and product lifecycle development.

  • With in-depth knowledge in current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP), Sanitation Standard Operating procedure (SSOP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

  • Knowledge and experience in QMS, biological methodologies, techniques and conduct research.

  • Creativity and an aptitude for innovation.

  • Ability to communicate and establish good working relationship with the management team and team members

  • Masteral or Post graduate Degree is an added advantage

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research to develop new products and enhance existing ones.

  • Design, plan, and execute experiments, trials, or product tests.

  • Analyze data and present findings in reports, presentations, or technical documents.

  • Collaborate with quality assurance, and production teams to ensure feasibility and compliance.

  • Conducts and leads sensory evaluation and shelf life study.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements.

  • Assist in the preparation of documentation for product registrations, and technical specifications.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot issues during product development or implementation.

  • Ensure that all R&D activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and safety standards.

  • Perform other task like material planning, inventory control and other task that may assigned by the management from time to time.
