Job Summary:

The Purchasing Staff is responsible for sourcing, ordering, and coordinating the delivery of materials, supplies, and services required by the organization. This role ensures timely procurement of quality items at the best possible cost, while maintaining accurate records and supporting vendor management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and review purchase requisitions from various departments.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, availability, and service.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) to approved vendors.
  • Monitor and follow up on order status to ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and vendor performance.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse or receiving department for delivery and inspection.
  • Assist in negotiating prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
  • Maintain and update supplier database and documents.
  • Handle inquiries and resolve issues related to procurement and deliveries.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and purchasing procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement is preferred (entry-level applicants may be considered).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with ERP or purchasing software is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and negotiation skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php16, Php23,000.00 per month
