Undertake the day to day control and co-ordination of the schedule and grounds maintenance plan ensuring the satisfactory and timely completion of all tasks. The supervisor who will carry an HSE qualification will be responsible for the maintenance team and their day to day management and direction.
The Supervisor will liaise closely with the project manager to ensure that required resources, tools, equipment, materials, transport and machinery by their team to complete the works are provided as required as well as providing local contact with customer representatives on site.
The supervisor will provide assistance to the PM in the planning, organisation and supervision of the grounds maintenance workforce ensuring their efficient deployment and motivation is maintained to ensure maximum productivity at all times.
The Supervisor will be highly proficient in propagation and management of the propagation area to ensure the production of all required annual, perennials and shrubs based on the work plan.
Where necessary the Supervisor will Identify training needs in the area of responsibility and advice the PM accordingly, carry out and record that training and compete the required records as well as ensure that all staff comply with company policies and procedures at all times.
Completion of all internal reports, HSE and Quality management check sheets to the PM and the attendance at the monthly meeting with the COR to provide adequate feedback and recommendations as and when required.
