Job Summary

The Manufacturing Quality Engineer is responsible for implementing product and process controls in accordance with the control plan, working closely with the Plant's production and engineering teams. This role also leads the 8D problem resolution process for both internal and external concerns, including regular coordination with Customer Quality Managers (CQMs) to provide updates on issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure continuous compliance with production control plans, including maintaining and updating documentation throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Collect, analyze, and respond to manufacturing process data in alignment with the control plan.
  • Maintain and update capability studies, including Statistical Process Control (SPC) data collection.
  • Oversee compliance with containment, rework, and inspection procedures for non-conforming products.
  • Lead the disposition process for non-conforming products, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Serve as the quality lead in problem-solving teams and the Fast Response System.
  • Drive the problem-solving process, ensuring proper use of quality tools, validation of 8D reports, and adherence to customer and internal response time requirements.
  • Lead the completion of build reports and ensure all deliverables are met for qualification builds of transferred products.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Engineering.
  • Proficient in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office and knowledgeable in electronic components, their operation, and applications.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work effectively in cross-cultural teams.
  • Assertive, adaptable, and a strong team player with good leadership qualities.
