Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations and technical management of assigned vessels
  • Plan and supervise maintenance, repairs, and dry-docking activities
  • Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations and company policies
  • Conduct regular vessel inspections and prepare technical reports
  • Manage budgets and control costs for vessel operations
  • Coordinate with ship captains, crew, and shore-based teams
  • Liaise with classification societies and regulatory authorities
  • Implement safety and environmental policies on board
  • Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions
  • Monitor vessel performance and optimize operational efficiency

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in vessel management or marine engineering
  • Strong knowledge of international maritime regulations (IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL)
  • Experience with dry-docking, repairs, and maintenance planning
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage budgets and control operational costs
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office and maritime management software
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php50, Php60,000.00 per month
