Part-Time Dishwasher & Purchaser

Schedule: 3–4 times a week (Days vary based on operational needs)

Location: Abli Cebu – Capitol Site & assigned purchasing locations

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Part-Time Dishwasher & Purchaser plays a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations by maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and public areas, supporting the team through timely dishwashing tasks, and completing ingredient and supply purchases as assigned. This is a hybrid role that combines back-of-house operational support with administrative coordination.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Dishwashing & Kitchen Support

  • Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, molds, and equipment following Abli's hygiene standards.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing station at all times.
  • Properly store all clean kitchenware and equipment in assigned areas.
  • Clear and clean kitchen work areas as needed.
  • Assist the BOH team during peak hours by ensuring steady availability of clean kitchen tools.
  • Follow closing or opening cleaning responsibilities when scheduled.

Purchaser / Supply Runner

  • Purchase assigned ingredients and supplies based on daily or weekly purchasing lists.
  • Others as required by operations
  • Check price, quality, and freshness of purchased items.
  • Communicate any out-of-stock items, substitutions, or price changes to the Chef or Management.
  • Submit clear and complete receipts for all purchases at the end of each workday.
  • Ensure timeliness and accuracy in buying tasks, especially for urgent needs.

Public Area & General Cleaning

  • Keep public areas tidy, including alfresco, hallway, dish area, and trash area.
  • Maintain comfort room cleanliness and ensure it is presentable at all times.
  • Follow waste segregation and disposal procedures.
  • Monitor cleaning supplies and report low inventory.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in dishwashing, cleaning, or kitchen support is an advantage but not required.
  • Familiarity with local markets and grocery stores preferred.
  • Physically fit; able to lift 20–25 kg if needed.
  • Responsible, dependable, and able to manage time well.
  • Can work with minimal supervision.
  • Honest and reliable in handling money and receipts.
  • Must be willing to travel for purchasing tasks.

WORK EXPECTATIONS

  • Must be punctual and able to complete tasks within shift hours.
  • Must be able to maintain cleanliness standards consistently.
  • Must submit accurate records (receipts, lists) daily.
  • Expected to uphold Abli's values and teamwork culture.

COMPENSATION

  • Workdays: 3–4 days/week depending on operational needs
  • Additional work days may be assigned during busy periods.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Php9, Php10,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 35 per week
