About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team at Hyundai Laguna Inc. This is a full-time position based in Binan City, Laguna. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in our financial accounting and reporting processes, supporting the overall financial management of the company.

What you'll be doing

  1. Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll
  2. Perform monthly account reconciliations and ensure the integrity of financial data
  3. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and other analyses for management and external stakeholders
  4. Contribute to the implementation and improvement of financial processes and controls
  5. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
  6. Support the annual audit process and respond to inquiries from auditors
  7. Provide financial advice and support to various departments as needed

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification or equivalent
  3. Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar financial accounting role, preferably in the automotive industry
  4. Proficient in the use of accounting software and MS Office applications
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  6. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with high accuracy
  7. Good communication and interpersonal skills
  8. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
