Role Overview

We're seeking a detail-oriented GoHighLevel Email Marketing & Automation Specialist to manage, optimize, and enhance our email marketing initiatives. This role involves overseeing campaigns end-to-end — from planning and testing to deliverability optimization and performance analysis. The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of GoHighLevel (GHL) or similar CRM systems, ensuring every campaign is accurate, compliant, and data-driven.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and automate email campaigns and workflows within GoHighLevel.
  • Monitor deliverability metrics, including inbox placement, spam complaints, and bounce rates.
  • Maintain clean contact lists through regular data hygiene and segmentation practices.
  • Conduct pre-send quality checks for formatting, links, personalization, and tracking accuracy.
  • Run A/B tests to improve engagement metrics such as open rates and click-through rates.
  • Generate comprehensive performance reports with actionable insights.
  • Update and maintain automation sequences, templates, and CRM configurations.
  • Stay informed about best practices in deliverability, authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), and compliance.

Mandatory Skills

  • Proven experience using GoHighLevel (GHL) or equivalent CRM/email marketing platforms.
  • Deep understanding of email deliverability and authentication standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and process accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML for formatting and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with marketing teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience managing segmented lists or large-scale contact databases.
  • Analytical approach to interpreting campaign data and improving KPIs.
  • Familiarity with funnel optimization and lead nurturing workflows.
  • Creative problem-solving skills for addressing deliverability challenges.
