Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced AU Accountant to provide full-cycle accounting support to Australian clients. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Angeles City, Pampanga, responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and timely delivery of accounting services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Australian accounting standards
  • Assist with the preparation of tax returns, BAS, and other regulatory filings
  • Process doctor payments using Google Sheets and online banking platforms
  • Manage staff wages and payroll using the Tanda workforce management system
  • Extract, analyze, and report clinical and billing data using PentCat software
  • Prepare weekly and monthly financial and operational reports
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support management and client decision-making
  • Liaise with Australian clients and internal teams to address accounting queries
  • Collaborate with medical, administrative, and business teams to ensure data accuracy
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and internal controls

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably supporting Australian clients
  • Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and compliance requirements
  • Experience in bookkeeping and financial reporting
  • Proficient in accounting software
  • Advanced skills in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel
  • Experience using Tanda or similar payroll/rostering systems
  • Familiarity with PentCat or healthcare performance platforms
  • Knowledge of Medicare item numbers and GP clinic billing is an advantage
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
