Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor Safety Officers I and II or other safety personnel.
  • Coordinate with regulatory bodies (e.g., DOLE, OSHA, DENR, local government) to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Plan and conduct safety training, drills, and awareness campaigns for employees.
  • Review safety documentation (permits, risk assessments, safe work procedures).
  • Maintain accurate safety records and submit periodic reports to management.
  • Participate in emergency response planning and implementation.
  • Advise management on occupational health and safety matters and recommend preventive measures.
