An exciting opportunity has arisen at Taguig/ Davao, Philippines for PROJECT MANAGER – AGRICULTURE.

As the Project Manager – Agriculture you will be responsible for managing projects across various agricultural value chains (e.g. coconut, banana, coffee, cocoa, rice, etc.), ensuring that all deliverables meet regulatory, client, and internal standards. The role also supports business development initiatives within the agricultural sector. A deep understanding of agricultural practices, international standards, and the Testing, Inspection & Certification (TIC) industry is essential.

You will lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of agriculture and plantation-related projects within our company. This role requires solid expertise in project management and agricultural operations, with a strong alignment to our organizational and sustainability objectives.

Project Planning & Execution

• Establish project workflows, processes, and documentation systems.
• Design and manage agricultural programs from concept/proposal to completion.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, timelines, and resource plans aligned with client and sustainability goals.
• Lead pilot programs and manage field implementation activities.
• Provide technical guidance on agricultural best practices within the TIC framework.
• Ensure alignment with international agricultural and TIC standards.
• Oversee compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and accreditation requirements, including legal registrations and certifications.
• Identify and resolve project challenges with practical solutions.
• Deliver training and capacity-building sessions for farmers and agribusiness partners.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, industry players, and clients.
• Support the development of marketing and sales strategies to attract new clients.
• Identify potential opportunities for tenders, contracts, and partnerships.

Monitoring, Reporting & Compliance

• Supervise data collection, monitoring, and evaluation of project outcomes.
• Prepare technical reports, impact assessments, and regular client updates related to the projects.
• Ensure and safeguard high quality and in-time delivery of project deliverables

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead and manage cross-functional teams, including field coordinators, agronomists, and auditors.
• Build project teams and coordinate efforts across regions.

• Perform business to the highest standards of ethics
• Performs other related duties as may be assigned in relation to Project Management.

• Bachelor's degree in agriculture, Agronomy, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience managing agricultural projects, preferably within the TIC industry.
• Proven experience with certification standards in agriculture and/or TIC.
• Strong knowledge of agricultural practices and project management methodologies.
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
• Strong computer skills, particularly with MS Office tools.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of plantation systems, agricultural processes, and sustainability frameworks.
• Strong skills in project budgeting, planning, and reporting.
