Project Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage projects from planning to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while managing project teams, resources, and stakeholder expectations.

What you'll be doing

1. Project Planning and Execution

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate all phases of construction or fit-out projects, from pre-construction through completion.
• Review design plans for constructability, value engineering, and alignment with client requirements.
• Secure management approvals for project plans and strategies.

2. Budget and Cost Management

• Prepare, review, and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with approved estimates.
• Monitor expenditures, approve invoices, and track financial performance against forecasts.
• Prepare cost control systems, cash flow projections, and completion reports.

• Identify financial risks and apply corrective measures to avoid overruns.

• Procurement and Resource Management

• Oversee the procurement process, including material and equipment acquisition, contractor tendering, and supplier evaluation.

• Perform contractor pre-qualification screenings, bid evaluations, and award recommendations.
• Ensure timely delivery and availability of materials and services to avoid workflow disruption.

4. Team Leadership and Coordination

• Lead and supervise project teams, including engineers, site supervisors, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Assign tasks, track deliverables, and hold team members accountable for progress.
• Motivate and support site teams to maintain a collaborative, productive, and safety-first environment.

5. Stakeholder Engagement and Communication

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal departments to align on project goals and milestones.
• Conduct and attend regular coordination meetings and presentations with stakeholders.
• Provide timely project updates and formal progress reports.
• Address and resolve project-related issues proactively.

6. Compliance and Quality Assurance

• Ensure all projects comply with local building codes, zoning laws, contractual obligations, and safety regulations.
• Implement quality assurance plans, conduct site inspections, and resolve non-compliance issues.
• Monitor contractors' adherence to project specifications and company standards.

7. Risk Management and Problem Solving

• Identify risks during project planning and execution, and implement preventive strategies.
• Resolve site issues and construction challenges to prevent delays and cost overruns.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of decisions, actions, and outcomes.

8. Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain proper project records, including plans, correspondences, reports, permits, and approvals.
• Submit regular reports on project progress, budget status, and key performance indicators.
• Oversee project closeout documentation, punch lists, and turnover to clients.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or its equivalent.
• Preferably with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior leadership role within the civil and building construction industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex civil and building construction projects on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead teams.
• Computer literate and proficient in project management software and construction estimating software (i.e. AutoCAD, Revit 3D, Navisworks, Microsoft Office).
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Scrum Agile).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php80, Php100,000.00 per month
