Video Editor

We are looking for a talented and experienced Video Editor with a strong background in event management for corporate events such as conferences, seminars, corporate gatherings and other events. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing high-quality video content. Additionally, the candidate should have experience with preparing and managing the technical aspects of stage production, including video equipment setup, lighting, and coordinating with other teams for a smooth event flow.

Key Responsibilities

Video Editing and Production

• Video Editing: Edit video footage from corporate events, including conferences, seminars, and corporate meetings, ensuring polished, professional content.
• Post-Production: Handle all aspects of post-production, including video editing, sound mixing, color grading, adding motion graphics, and preparing the final product for various platforms (internal presentations, social media, promotional videos, etc.).
• Highlight Videos: Create engaging highlight videos, recap videos, and promotional content for the company's events.

Event Management and Coordination

• Event Video Strategy: Collaborate with event organizers to determine video requirements and content strategy that aligns with the goals of the event.
• Stage and Set Preparation: Assist in preparing the stage and video setup for events, including coordinating video feeds, camera placements, and live-streaming requirements.
• Technical Setup: Oversee the technical aspects of video production for live events, including setting up and testing equipment such as cameras, projectors, screens, and audio systems.
• On-Site Video Coverage: Provide on-site video coverage for events, managing live recordings or streaming and adjusting video settings based on the event's real-time needs.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other event teams (audio, lighting, production) to ensure all technical aspects of the event run smoothly, with special attention to video production and stage setup.

Content Delivery and Maintenance

• Live Event Coordination: Manage live event video feeds, ensuring that all media and content are delivered on time during presentations, speeches, or panel discussions.
• Archiving and Documentation: Ensure that all video footage and event recordings are properly archived and stored for future use or distribution.
• Client Interaction: Communicate directly with clients and stakeholders to understand their vision and objectives for each event, ensuring that video content supports the overall event experience.

Event Support and Logistics

• Pre-Event Planning: Assist in pre-event planning and coordination, including site inspections, evaluating equipment needs, and preparing video-related materials and technical documents.
• Event Flow Management: Be part of the on-site event team, working in sync with other departments to ensure a seamless execution of the event, paying special attention to video content and stage preparation.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a video editor, with at least 1-2 years of experience in event management and stage preparation, particularly in corporate or large-scale events.
• Proficient in Video Editing Software: Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut or other professional video editing software.
• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of video equipment setup, camera operation, live streaming, video feeds, and other technical aspects of event production.
• Event Coordination: Solid experience in managing event logistics, including the coordination of video and technical aspects for conferences, corporate seminars, or similar events.
• Creative Vision: A keen eye for storytelling through video, with a strong understanding of pacing, timing, and visual aesthetics.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with various teams, stakeholders, and clients.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, ensuring all video and stage preparation elements are executed to a high standard.
• Adaptability: Ability to work under pressure, adapt to event changes in real time, and troubleshoot technical challenges.

Preferred

• Event Management Tools: Familiarity with event management platforms or project management tools.
• Experience in Live Streaming: Knowledge of live-streaming platforms and the technical setup for live broadcasting.
• Motion Graphics/Animation Skills: Experience in creating motion graphics and animations to enhance video content.
• Lighting and Sound Knowledge: Understanding of lighting, sound, and staging for events, particularly in relation to video production.
