Responsibilities/Core Tasks

  • Collaborate with the Journey Owner to collect email content and template requirements.
  • Develop and refine email templates using HTML/CSS to ensure responsiveness and deliverability.
  • Build, test, and deploy email journeys following best practices in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) or other email platforms.
  • Set up and execute A/B tests to improve email performance metrics.
  • Ensure all emails are tested in development environments and function correctly in production.
  • Identify email rendering issues and apply minor HTML/CSS fixes for better design consistency across different email clients.
  • Monitor email performance KPIs, analyze results, and suggest improvements.
  • Stay updated on email marketing trends, best practices, and deliverability enhancements.
  • Work proactively with the team to brainstorm new email content, automation, and segmentation strategies.

Individual / Job-Specific:

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in email marketing.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Experience: Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is required.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS for email template modifications.
  • Advanced proficiency in HTML and CSS is essential for complex email template development and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) or similar ESPs.
  • Understanding of email best practices, deliverability, and automation workflows.
  • Communication: Fluent in English (written & verbal) with effective collaboration skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Thorough, detail-oriented, and committed to high-quality execution.
  • Problem-Solving: Capable of troubleshooting email rendering issues and optimising templates.
