Someone to oversee the day-to-day operations of our broiler chicken farm in Nueva Ecija. The role requires a hands-on leader who can manage poultry production efficiently, ensure animal welfare, maintain biosecurity standards, and deliver strong farm performance in line with company targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage overall farm operations for broiler chicken production, including feeding, health monitoring, growth performance, and harvest schedules.
  • Supervise and train farm staff, ensuring productivity, proper work practices, and adherence to safety standards.
  • Implement and monitor biosecurity measures, sanitation protocols, and waste management.
  • Oversee procurement and usage of feeds, medicines, vaccines, and farm supplies.
  • Track flock performance (feed conversion ratio, mortality, growth rate) and prepare farm reports.
  • Coordinate with veterinarians and nutritionists for health and feed programs.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations (e.g., DA, BAI, DENR, local government requirements).
  • Maintain farm equipment, housing, and facilities in good working condition.
  • Work closely with management on production planning, budget control, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, Agribusiness, Veterinary Medicine or related field (preferred).
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in poultry or livestock farm management (broiler experience is an advantage).
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Knowledge of poultry health management, biosecurity, and production best practices.
  • Ability to analyze farm data and make decisions to optimize performance.
  • Willingness to live near or within Nueva Ecija for close farm supervision.
