Daily Authoring Responsibilities:

  • Write product descriptions, upload images and define simple information against a product.
  • Authoring new products from technical literature and manufacturer documentation in line with the Uniclass clause structure and NBS authoring standards.
  • Create a detailed specification for building products.
  • Author Product data in line with the Style guide.
  • Interpreting manufacturers comments and applying them to the specification.
  • Classify products to uniclass and the common arrangement of works (CAWS).
  • Peer-review work by other technical authors as required.
  • Upload supporting documentation onto the platform such as Technical literature, certifications, BIM objects and case studies.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Possesses a degree in a construction-related discipline (e.g., Architecture, M&E, Electrical, or Landscape)
  • with ideally 2–3 years of relevant experience in Electrical, Landscape, or Mechanical works.
  • Knowledge and understanding of industry Standards and Building regulations.
  • Prior experience working with the UK market is beneficial.
  • This is a full-time role, and successful candidates will work in a hybrid setup.
  • Must be able to start working and undergoing training right away.
  • Must be willing to work a day shift (10 AM – 7 PM, Manila Time).
  • Professional communication (written & oral).
  • Comprehensive construction project experience.
  • PC knowledge – Internet search engines, database experience, MS Office basic.
  • Meticulous & strong attention to detail.
