A. Planning and Scheduling

  1. Prepare and update the Program of Works (POW), aligning with project milestones and overall EPC schedule.

  2. Develop weekly and monthly work schedules, manpower plans, and resource allocation for civil works (clearing, grading, drainage, roads, foundations).

  3. Coordinate with the Project Management and Construction Teams to ensure alignment between field progress and baseline schedules.

  4. Identify potential schedule delays and recommend recovery actions.

B. Design and Documentation

  1. Review IFC (Issued for Construction) drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications for the civil scope.

  2. Generate Bill of Materials (BOM) for site civil works such as drainage, roadworks, and foundations.

  3. Verify design compliance with site conditions and raise RFIs for discrepancies or clarifications.

  4. Prepare and review method statements and inspection test plans (ITPs) for land development activities.

C. Procurement and Subcontractor Management

  1. Review and evaluate subcontractor proposals, including technical scope, work methodology, schedule, and cost breakdowns.

  2. Provide comparative analysis and recommendations for award based on compliance, pricing, and capability.

  3. Monitor subcontractor performance and verify work accomplishments for billing and progress claims.

  4. Coordinate with the Procurement and QA/QC teams for timely material approvals and delivery tracking.

D. Execution and Site Supervision

  1. Supervise the daily site civil works, including land clearing, grading, compaction, drainage, and foundation preparation.

  2. Ensure strict compliance with approved drawings, quality standards, and safety procedures.

  3. Coordinate and lead site engineers, foremen, and subcontractors to achieve planned progress.

  4. Conduct coordination meetings with construction teams and ensure proper work sequencing.

  5. Validate actual field quantities and prepare daily and weekly accomplishment reports.

E. Quality and Safety Assurance

  1. Ensure that all civil works undergo proper inspection and testing before backfilling or concreting.

  2. Implement and monitor corrective actions for non-conformances and ensure closure.

  3. Promote safety awareness among workers and ensure compliance with project HSE policies.

F. Coordination and Reporting

  1. Coordinate with Design, Electrical, and Mechanical disciplines for interface works (e.g., MVPS, equipment foundations, duct banks).

  2. Report project status, progress, and issues to the Construction Manager and Project Manager.
