Job Opening: Procurement Officer

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop both local and international suppliers specializing in glass sheets, aluminum extrusions, hardware fittings, and other materials essential for glass and aluminum projects.

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.

  • Conduct market research to monitor trends, evaluate suppliers, and identify cost-saving opportunities.

  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and logistics teams to ensure procurement supports project requirements.

  • Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with quality standards.

  • Oversee international shipping logistics and documentation.

  • Ensure adherence to import/export regulations and company procurement policies.

  • Prepare and present procurement reports, cost analyses, and supplier performance updates.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, Engineering, or a related field.

  • At least 2–3 years of procurement experience, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or glass/aluminum sectors.

  • Strong skills in negotiation, vendor management, and communication.

  • Knowledgeable in logistics processes, Incoterms, and customs regulations.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement systems/tools.

  • Fluent in English; knowledge of Mandarin or other languages is an advantage.

  • Willing to engage with overseas vendors and travel internationally when required.

  • Highly trainable, adaptable to new skills and processes.

Salary

  • PHP 20,000–25,000 per month (depending on experience)
