Overview

Expansion International is hiring a Video Editor on behalf of Recbound, a creative agency producing high-quality podcast and video content for diverse clients across industries. This role begins as a freelance engagement with potential for full-time conversion based on performance and business growth.

The successful candidate will combine technical expertise with creative storytelling to deliver visually engaging content that strengthens brand presence and audience engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and produce podcast thumbnails, ensuring consistency with each brand's visual identity.
  • Edit podcast clips and short-form videos optimised for YouTube, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms.
  • Add accurate subtitles and closed captions to enhance accessibility and reach.
  • Apply client branding elements such as logos, overlays, and custom frames to all videos.
  • Create professional intros and outros that align with the client's tone and storytelling style.
  • Collaborate closely with the creative and operations teams to maintain timelines and quality standards.
  • Stay up to date on video trends, editing techniques, and content formats relevant to podcasts and digital marketing.
Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in video editing, preferably in a marketing, media, or content agency setting.

  • Proven proficiency in the following tools:

  • VEED.IO

  • Riverside
  • Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Canva
  • Strong understanding of video pacing, storytelling, and visual design principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly in brand consistency and subtitle accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with tight turnaround times.
  • Demonstrated creativity and initiative in improving content quality and audience engagement.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience editing podcasts or interview-based content.
  • Basic skills in motion graphics and audio editing.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of edited videos, thumbnails, and branded clips.
