Job Description

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team in the Philippines (remote, work-from-home). In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines that power the delivery of Cynapse products. You will collaborate closely with the Product, QA, and Performance Testing teams to ensure reliable environments across development, testing, and production.

This role requires strong expertise in Linux systems, memory management, and file systems, with hands-on experience in both on-premise and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support product releases.
• Work closely with the Product team to enable seamless build, test, and deployment workflows.
• Collaborate with QA to provision and maintain stable QA environments.
• Support the Performance Testing team by developing and setting up scalable test environments.
• Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance, focusing on system memory, storage, and I/O.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and monitoring.
• Implement best practices for system reliability, security, and scalability.
• Support incident response, root cause analysis, and environment recovery.
• Document infrastructure processes, deployment guidelines, and environment configurations.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of professional experience in DevOps, infrastructure, or system engineering roles.
• Strong knowledge of Linux systems, memory management, and file systems.
• Hands-on experience managing both on-premise infrastructure and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or equivalent).
• Solid skills in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, or similar).
• Familiarity with configuration management and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, or similar).
• Experience with monitoring and logging systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
• Knowledge of containers and orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communicator, able to work with cross-functional technical teams.
