SAFETY OFFICER TASKS:

  • Investigate accidents
  • Conduct regular workplace inspections
  • Implement OSH program in all Tesco offices
  • Rectify all unsafe workplace conditions
  • Coordinate assistance from the management to the injured worker in case of hospitalization and injury from accidents.
  • Inspects worksites to ensure hazard-free environment
  • Conducts toolbox meetings to ensure all tools and equipment are adequate and safe to use
  • Conducts investigations of all accidents and near-misses.
  • Promotes safety practices and enforces safety guidelines at the job site.
  • Performs emergency response drills.
  • Receives reports from and responds to orders issued by Department of Labor inspectors.
  • Prepares monthly and annual OSH and WAIR reports.

HR STAFF TASKS:

  • Participate in field recruitment and process clerical tasks.

Qualifications:

  • MUST HAVE at least 1 year of proven experience as a Safety Officer
  • In-depth knowledge of OSH policies and procedure
  • Can implement the OSH program across Tesco offices
  • Must have a mandatory forty hour basic OSH (BOSH) training course applicable to the industry;
  • Proficient in MS Office;
  • Outstanding organizational and negotiation skills to close cases of accidents and hospitalization.
  • Diligent with great attention to detail
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present OSH orientation and create comprehensive incident reports.
  • Willing to work as an HR staff during other office hours

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php15,000.00 per month

License/Certification:

  • SO 2 certificate (Required)

Willingness to travel:

  • 50% (Preferred)
