Mobile Developer

About the Role:

As a Mobile Developer, you will contribute to the development of our flagship product, i21 and Mobile application, across various software modules. You will be responsible for both client-side and server-side aspects of the application, playing a crucial role in delivering high-quality software solutions.

This position is Hybrid, requires working in our Makati City office 3 to 4 days per week.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Mobile Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality mobile applications using the Ionic framework, while also working with a .NET C# Web API and MS SQL Server backend. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, ensuring the best performance and user experience of our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android using the Ionic framework.
  • Develop and maintain robust, scalable backend services and APIs using .NET C#.
  • Design and manage databases, write complex queries, and optimize performance on MS SQL Server.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
  • Identify and fix bugs, and proactively address performance bottlenecks.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in mobile and web development.

Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

  • Mobile Development:
  • Proficiency in the Ionic framework for cross-platform mobile development.
  • Strong command of JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular or React, as Ionic is built on them).
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
  • Knowledge of mobile-specific design patterns, user experience (UX) principles, and best practices.
  • Backend Development:
  • Extensive experience with C# and the .NET framework (.NET Core or later).
  • Proven experience in designing and building Web APIs and RESTful services.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
  • Database:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, T-SQL scripting, stored procedures, and performance optimization.
  • Tools and Methodologies:
  • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
  • Experience with debugging, profiling, and performance optimization tools.
  • Experience on JIRA, Azure DevOps, React is a plus
