Job Description:

This position supports the Project in all material and labor requirement including tools and equipment and is responsible for all claims and variation work of the project.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review Electrical, Mechanical, Structural, and Architectural drawings to ensure completeness of tender documents, including requisition of missing information.
  • Study and interpret tender documents, specifications, and project requirements relevant to Electrical and Mechanical works.
  • Perform comprehensive quantity take-offs and cost estimates for Electrical and Mechanical works.
  • Prepare bid submittals and cost proposals.
  • Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for current and upcoming projects.
  • Attend pre-bid conferences and site inspections for design-and-build, repair, or maintenance projects.
  • Source prices and material costs from suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Evaluate subcontractor progress billings and accomplishments.
  • Assess change orders, variations, and claims related to Electrical and Mechanical works.

Job Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Professional license is preferred but not strictly required.
  • With at least 1 year of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying, Cost Estimation, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge in project costing, tender processes, and construction drawings.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and estimation software (an advantage).
  • Willing to be assigned in Cainta, Rizal.
