JOB OBJECTIVE :

The Project Electrical Engineer is responsible in the successful planning, design, cost estimation,

fabrication, installation, overseeing implementation and documentation of all aspects of the

identified electrical projects.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

1. Develop project objectives by reviewing project proposal in accordance to engineering principles. 
2. Engages project requester & stakeholders in gathering project requirements.
3. Collaborate in the interpretation & establishment of the desired project outcome based on gathered requirement into a detailed plan that can be implemented by the project team.
4. Oversees project implementation ensuring that execution is in accordance to design specifications & methodology, within scope, budget and schedule. Any deviation shall be immediately resolved and/or communicated to the project team and project sponsor/owner. 
5. Minimize project risks by identifying potential risks during design and implementation ensuring that preventive action plans are defined, communicated throughout the project cycle. 
6. Changes in the project scope affecting budget & schedule shall be communicated so that proper change request is managed.
7. Ensure all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements are observed for all work completed. Violation on safety protocols are documented & reported for proper handling.
8. Ensures the quality of the project by defining it, committing to it, manage it, perform quality checking; control & correcting, focusing on the scope & requirements & document lessons  earned throughout the project cycle. 
9. Keeps & maintain accurate plans, records and files according to quality management standard. 
10. Provides assistance in the procurement of goods & services by handling technical review of potential vendors or service providers for project with upmost integrity & impartiality. 
11. Recommends award for implementation of projects. 
12. Ensures compliance of food safety and good housekeeping based on the standard requirements of 5S, GMP, HACCP, ISO, ERM and Halal.
13. Regularly communicates & send updates on the status of the projects being handled. 
14. Performs other related task as may be assigned by the immediate superior.

FOOD SAFETY:

1. Complies with quality, Halal, health and food safety policy, standards and regulations of the company.
2. Responsible for reporting problems related to Halal, food safety & quality management system to identified authorities.

OTHER TASKS:

1. Actively participate in all company programs and activities under quality improvement, safety & security, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, risk management etc. 
2. Performs other tasks related to the job as may be assigned by the immediate superior.

Education:

• Graduate of Electrical Engineering

Experience:

• At least 2 years of experience in electrical designing, and installation and other related work.
• Experience in handling projects.

Licenses:

• Preferably a Registered Electrical Engineer

Other Requirements:

• Has lots of initiatives
• Good organization skills
• Ability to communicate well, both written and oral.
• Knowledgeable on basic ACAD operation and has ability to explain design ideas & plans clearly.
• Effective technical skills. 
• Fundamental knowledge electrical design and its application in automation industrial designs.

Physical Effort:

• Light work requiring little physical effort

• Occasional exposure to some disagreeable elements
