ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure equipment is in good condition by giving technical support on machine maintenance.

  • Develops, evaluates, and implements equipment Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs and effective options for repair.

  • Strategize on maintenance, work instruction and methods.

  • Ensure on-time calibration of equipment.

  • Lay-out project plan (conceptualization, needed parts & schedule of activities)

  • Support production for equipment re-layout & machine conversions if needed

  • Analyzes historical breakdowns and formulates long term solutions to recurring problems by recommending modifications, replacement of non- durable spare parts

  • Analyzes causes of deviations to target and identifies specific areas to initiate improvements

  • Manages resources including inventory, manpower, tools and equipment

  • Create system on stocking of parts, monitoring of withdrawals & acquisition for replenishment of parts

  • Upgrading maintenance team's technical knowledge and skills, procurement of new and additional tools and other strategies that would help in reducing the frequency of unplanned downtime and repetitive breakdowns

  • Create plant preventative maintenance procedures

  • Generate work instructions, set-up checklist & control charts as required

  • Performs maintenance of machines and equipment to be able to produce high quality products

  • Report problems regarding FSMS to the authorized person or person-in-charge.

  • Contribute to the effectiveness of FSMS and compliant to FSMS requirements

EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Licensed Mechanical, or Electrical Engineer

  • Professional with a minimum of 2-year repair and maintenance experience in a Food Manufacturing Company will be given priority

  • Must be keen in intricate details, and sensitive to project deadlines

  • Required Skill(s): Preventive and Corrective Maintenance Process

  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications

  • Good English oral and written communication skills

  • Good interpersonal skills, reliable, hardworking and flexible

  • Moral character and work attitude.
